【摘要】:a.ThisBritishStandardstatestherequirementsfor'Nyvin'typecablesforaircraftwiring.Thecabiesaresuitableforuseincircuitsinwhichthevoltagebetweenconductors,betweena'conductorandametalbraidsur-roundingitandberweenaconductorandtheaircraftstructurenowhereexceeds600voltsr.m.s.andinwhichthefrequencydoesnotexceed1600c/s.thecablesaresuitableforusewhere,incontinuousservice,nocombinationofambienttemperatureandconductorcurrentproducesastabilizedconductortem-peratureinexcessof105℃.Theyaresuitablefortixedwiringinaircraftattemperaturesdownto?5℃.butarenotsuitableforsevereflexingattemperaturesbeiow-30℃.ThecablesdonotsupportcombustionbuttheydonotcomplywiththerequirementsofBritishStandardG.100inrespectoffireresistance.Thecablesaresuitableforuseinareaswhereester-basefluidsarepresentb.Thegenericname'Nyvin'isapplicableonlytocablescoveredbythisBritishStandardandcomplyingwithallitsrequirements.c.Thestandardincludesthefollowingrangesofcables:(i)Nyvin.CablewithacopperconductorandaninsulationofPVCcompoundandgiassbraidwithanouterprotectivecoveringofnylon.(ii)Nyvinal.SimilartotheNyvinrangebutwithaconductorofaluminiuminsteadofcopper.(iii)Nyvinmer.SimilartotheNyvinrangebutwiththeadditionofametalbraid.(iv)Nyvinmctsheath.SimilartotheNyvinrangebutwiththeadditionofametalbraidandasheathcomprisingapolyesterfilmtape,anylonfibreorribbonbraid,nylonlacquered,topreventabrasionininstallationswhereNyvinmetcableisin〓withcableswithoutametalbraid.(v)Dunyvin,Trinyvin,DunyvinalandTr.nyvinal.Two-orthree-corecablesconsistingoftwoorthree?NyvinorNyvinalcablestwistedtogether.d.Thecablesareclassifiedandidentifiedbyaseriesofnumbersindicativeoftheconductorcross-sectionaiarca.ThenumberscorrespondtothoseusedforequivalentAmericancables.Anindicationoftherelationshipbetweenthissystemofidentificationandthatprovidedby〓StandardE.21,'Prentypeelectriccablesforaircraft,'isgiveninAppendixAforinformation.ThemaximumcurrentratingsforNyvinandNyvinalcablesarequotedinAppendixB.
